The company Pagoda Restaurants Ltd was established on the 8th of August 1994 by Mr and Mrs Gogakis. The purpose of the company is the exploitation and management of restaurants. Today the company Pagoda Restaurants Ltd is the owner of four Restaurants, two in Nicosia and two in the town of Limassol. The four restaurants offer both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, both Dine in, and Take away- delivery services. Pagoda Restaurant in Nicosia was the first restaurant that was bought by the company in 1994. The restaurant was the first Chinese Restaurant in the whole of Cyprus, and it was first opened in 1969. It has been ever since its opening one of the most successful Restaurant of its kind in Cyprus. Due to the great success of the Nicosia Pagoda Restaurant, the Gogakis family decided in 1997 to expand their expertise experience in managing Restaurants in the town of Limassol. A sea-site town in the south of the island, with many thousands of tourist capacity every year. A restaurant which it was not operating any more became the new Limassol Pagoda Chinese Restaurant in the Limassol Tourist area of Yermasoyia. The restaurant started operation in November 1998, as it took nearly one and a half months to get ready, under the close eye of the Gogakis family. Following the great success of the two Pagoda Chinese Restaurants in both Nicosia and Limassol the Gogakis family decided to take the big step to take their company public, and this took place on the 6th of September 2000. On the 1st of August 2000 the company decided to take a further step, by buying the Limassol based Japanese Restaurant” Tokyo Japanese Teppanjaki Restaurant” which is located in the tourist sea front area of Amathus It was clear to everybody now that after the buy of the third Restaurant nothing would have stop the company of a further expansion as soon as possible, and this took place on the 11th of August 2000. In the most commercial street of Nicosia in Makarios Avenue, the company bought the restaurant-café ΅Bits and Bites” Today the newly bought place in the heart of Makarios Street is called ΅Chop Sticks” and is a modern Chinese fast food, take away delivery restaurant which the word ΅fast food” it doesnΆt really show the quality and service that is offered by the restaurant. Food is cooked by experts as in all the Restaurants the company operates. Highly experienced Chinese cooks, and highly trained staff, are there to satisfied every demand. On the 28th of August 2000 the company bought freehold in the Tourist area of Protaras, another 3 restaurants with restaurant licence operation. Aim of the company is for further expansion of its restaurants all over Cyprus and Greece in the near future, and to offer high quality ethnic traditional food, concentrating on first class service, unique modern decor and warm friendly atmosphere.
